Setting the Google Maps API key

Android

In your App_Resources/Android/AndroidManifest.xml file put in the <application> section the following line replacing "GOOGLE_MAPS_API_KEY" with the Google Maps API key from the Google Developers Console:

<meta-data
android:name="com.google.android.geo.API_KEY"
android:value="GOOGLE_MAPS_API_KEY" />

iOS

On iOS you just need call setIosApiKey with the API key before using Google Maps:

NativeScript/Angular

import { GoogleMaps } from "nativescript-google-maps";

GoogleMap.setIosApiKey("GOOGLE_MAPS_API_KEY");

Vue

import Vue from "nativescript-vue";
import GoogleMaps from "nativescript-google-maps/vue";

GoogleMaps.setIosApiKey("GOOGLE_MAPS_API_KEY");

Vue.use(GoogleMaps);
